Kate Townley Smith
Kate Townley Smith is a painter working in the north Georgia Appalachian foothills. Her latest work explores the natural beauty of the southern Appalachian mountains, from the vibrant colors of the flora and fauna to the wild textures of the landscape.
Kate was a painting major and has studied with some wonderful and challenging artists, such as Kathleen Olsen-Janjic, Larry Stein, Robert Reed, Eula Ginsberg, and Sarah Hatch.
Her work has been shown in The Work of Our Hands Gallery, Atlanta, and The Art House, Acworth.
